However, there’s a trend that has set out in the modern fashion era, to make comfort the top most priority while the style factor is not compromised. At this cost, there’s a rise in factors like minimalism & reliability.

People got so habituated to the all-day comfort of lounge wear during Covid, post Covid they started to wear athleisure to the office.  That’s when it tapped our founders, Mr. Harish & Mrs. Deepa to create Slowave to strike the right balance between Style & Comfort, and adding functionality on top of it, creating the perfect fashion of multi-occasion, true hybrid lifestyle

From the Founder’s Desk:

 “Post Covid, when we all started coming back to the office, I felt the urge of breaking barriers of the typical dress-code to the work. Firstly, wearing formals the entire day was a hustle, because any event would come un-announced; Secondly you won’t stay comfortable if you’re tucked in the entire day. That’s when I thought of creating something for everyone, maybe a clothing line that curates the need of meeting both work & leisure at the same time.”

The Slowave Story:

When we made our mind to create a brand in the work-leisure category, we wanted the brand name to accurately reflect the brand ideology & philosophy. The brand’s ideology is to give comfort through their product with whatever you do, wherever you go. There has to be restoration in the way of your thinking, move at your own & unrestricted pace, but have deep waves of energy at every stage. That’s how we came up with the name ‘Slowave’ for the brand. Now further splitting the name into two words ‘Slow’ & ‘Wave’, here’s the thought process behind it - It is to manage the slow pace, even when in the sleep stage, but in a calm & steady mind, which will let you do every task but hustle-free.

Our philosophy is to stay at ease & do what you love. That’s how our tagline, “Easy to wear, easy to care, everywhere” came up!

Why to blend comfort & style together?

There are men who prefer comfort throughout the day, wherever they go; while there are few men who don't want to compromise style at the cost of comfort! There’s another set of men who look for style & comfort both in what they wear, irrespective of work days or vacation time! That’s how it hit our mind that, why don’t we create a brand that stands for style & comfort both. We did a lot of research on how to achieve this & that’s when we figured out that choosing & implication of modern-day fabrics with hybrid technology is the key factor.

Fabrics that we mainly use are pure cotton, poly-cotton, polyester & poly-elastane mainly. These fabrics have the qualities of adaptability, flexibility, moisture-wicking, wrinkle resistance & solidity. Even when you’re running late to work, you can quickly grab a slowave shirt, wear it & feel ease at work, as it requires no ironing. On a whole, we strive to provide you clothing with fabrics that have hybrid wardrobe factors, with which you can simply transform from work to leisure and anything in between, without having to juggle.
